A massive thunderstorm of biblical proportions will strike Columbus this Friday, but it has nothing to do with the weather and everything to do with roeVy. Like an onslaught right out of the pages of The Book of Revelation, roeVy is poised to unleash a terrible swift electro-cal storm that will rival any rapturous event ever envisioned by heaven or earth. It doesn’t take a prophet to know that every mutated, mashed, wobbled, and fidget-tweaked roeVy performance is going to be apocalyptically severe, but, with the addition of special guests Mustard Pimp (mad sonorous scientists from France) and the phenomenally freaky performance art troupe, Queen Mae and the Bells, this one has the potential to be epically Beast-ly. Prepare ye the way for the coming of the Laser Lords of Sonic Attack and their fellow ecclesiastically electro-fied evangelicals as they bring musical fire and brimstone to the legendary Newport Music Hall on June 10, 2011. Tickets are $10 pre-storm; $12 once the fury is let loose.
