It’s Saturday, so this one is designed to get your feet a shuffling. “Little People (Black City)” is a great example of the type of grand grooves this band can attain (this is Matthew Dear the band, and not the person doing his DJ set). It is part disco, part trance, and part indie rock. There is always energy, from the first moment, yet still it grows and mutates as the song goes on. And at about 9 minutes this song has time to take you to a lot of different places, but you always go there alongside that pulsating groove the track began with. It’s adroitly designed music, but fun loving and straightforward in a way as well.
Get your groove on!
