This past weekend, the Great Googa Mooga touched down in Brooklyn’s Prospect Park. Unfortunately, Mother Nature wasn’t as kind as it was last year, bringing rain and clouds over the festival for Saturday and Sunday and ultimately causing Googa Mooga to come to an abrupt end after concerns were raised for the safety and well-being of fans as well as the Prospect Park grounds. We were there on Saturday to document the scene. Despite the wet conditions, people were able to fill their bellies with ease and while at it were able to enjoy the sounds of acts such as Matt & Kim, Red Baraat, Jovanotti, the Soul Rebels, Jon Batiste, Sharon Van Etten, and more.
You can check out some photos from Saturday, May 18th below and stay tuned for an in depth review coming soon . . .
