Filbert’s brand of indie, acoustic, and a bit of folk is unrivaled, bringing about a raw honesty that cuts deep, even if you do laugh a few times along the way. Sometimes more experimental, Filbert toned things down for “Headphones,” a more traditional acoustic song that speaks truths we can all relate to, albeit presented in a unique manor unlike much else being written today.
Filbert’s latest album, Chronographic, was released this past March, and can be downloaded from their Bandcamp page, where you can name your own price from the download. Check it out, and throw Filbert a few bucks while you’re at it — it’s money well spent.
