Fat History Month are a Boston based avant indie rock duo who have a knack for building hefty crescendoes and more robust movements in their tunes than you’d ever think feasible with only a drummer and a guitarist. Culling inspiration from indie bands of the past 20 years with bigger attitude than the more hushed bedroom indie sound that has become more consistent these days, Fat History Month sounds like two guys ferociously pulling off Modest Mouse, Ween, Woods, and Piglet writing all in one track. “Bad History Month” is out in April, be on the lookout.
